Black Phantom 'Memento Mori' is By Kilian's cult boozy-gourmand: a Martinique rum accord over full-bodied coffee, dark chocolate, almond and a signature 'cyanide' bitterness, drying down into caramel, sugar cane, vanilla, tonka, creamy sandalwood and vetiver. The 'Anniversary Edition' is the house's 15-year release of this same scent in a decorated, Eiffel-Tower-inspired refillable flacon (By Kilian's own listing shows the identical rum/coffee/cyanide/vetiver/sugar-cane/sandalwood composition) rather than a reformulation or distinct flanker, so the long-standing dupes of the standard Black Phantom apply to it too; clone houses target the juice, not the anniversary bottle. The best-corroborated alternatives recreate that rum-coffee-chocolate-caramel gourmand: The Dua Brand 'Black Widow' (an extrait the brand itself markets as inspired by Black Phantom, with the exact note list), Alexandria Fragrances 'Dark Knight' (a potent extrait repeatedly listed as a Black Phantom clone on Parfumo), and ALT. Fragrances 'Caped Crusader' (a coffee-forward interpretation). Oakcha 'Libra Elixir' turns up as a cheaper option but with thinner corroboration. Important honesty caveat: Reddit was not directly reachable during this research, so the consensus below rests on Parfumo community listings, the clone houses' own product pages and several dupe aggregators rather than deep first-hand thread testing — hence moderate confidence. Black Phantom is also a polarizing scent, so sampling before buying is wise.
