Megamare (Orto Parisi, 2019) is a hyper-realistic, ultra-potent marine/aquatic anchored by a salty ambergris-ambroxan accord over seaweed, algae, calone and citrus - it reads like standing at the edge of a harbour among driftwood and wet kelp, and is notorious as a nuclear-performing beast where one spray fills a room. Because the DNA is essentially a big ambroxan-marine accord, it has become one of the most heavily cloned niche marines, and the community consensus is well established. Lattafa Atlas is the runaway favorite and closest overall match (deliberately sold in a small bottle because it is so strong); Maison Alhambra Megara is structurally very close and cheaper but is often flagged for a harsher, more synthetic/laundry-detergent salty edge; and Paris Corner's A Chaos In The Ocean (Emir line) is an explicitly Megamare-inspired take praised for a faithful salty-marine opening with more moderate longevity.
